When renting a car with Klass Wagen, can I get the exact same car as is displayed on the website? If not, why?

No, Klass Wagen cannot guarantee the exact model of the car you will receive. We guarantee the car category (e.g., Economy, SUV, Luxury), meaning you will receive a car with similar space and specifications to the one displayed. If the car category you selected is unavailable for any unforeseen reason, we will upgrade you to a higher car class free of charge.

The reason for this policy is due to various unexpected situations such as last-minute extensions by previous renters, vehicle damages, or scheduled periodic maintenance checks. While we cannot guarantee a specific model, you are welcome to express your preference, and we will do our best to allocate a car accordingly based on availability.

Vehicle Condition

Do I need to wash the car before giving it back?

If you opted for a rental agreement where you bear full responsibility for potential damages (i.e., the deposit option), it is mandatory to return the car in a washed condition. This allows for a thorough inspection of any damages at the time of drop-off. If the car is returned dirty, a proper check for damages becomes impossible.

In such cases, according to our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to take up to two days to wash and inspect the car in your absence. To ensure transparency and a smooth deposit release process, it is always to the customer's advantage to return the car as clean as it was at pick-up.
