Rental Extensions

I need to extend my car rental. What should I do?

To extend your car rental, please follow these steps:

1. Visit www.klasswagen.com and click on "Manage Booking"
2. Enter your email address and the reservation code you received from us.
3. Access your booking details and modify the drop-off date to extend your rental period.
4. The website will generate the updated price, which you will need to pay online using a valid credit card.

Important: Your rental extension will only be confirmed and valid after the payment has been successfully processed. There are no other methods for contract extension.

Driving Regulations

Can I drive the car across the border?

Klass Wagen permits cross-border travel to select countries, but this requires our explicit written consent. For a comprehensive list of approved countries and any associated conditions or fees, please consult the Terms and Conditions section on our website, specifically section 3.9. Driving across borders without prior written consent may result in penalties.

Can I smoke in the car?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all Klass Wagen rental cars. Our policy enforces a smoke-free environment for the comfort and safety of all our customers. Violation of this policy will result in a penalty fee. You can find penalty costs in Annex 1 of our Terms and Conditions.

Fuel Policy

What is your fuel policy?

Our fuel policy requires you to return the rental car with the same amount of fuel as it had at the time of pick-up. If the car is returned with less fuel, a penalty fee applies, in addition to a sum equivalent to the cost of the missing fuel. Please note that the rental price does NOT cover fuel costs. You can find penalty costs in Annex 1 in our Terms and Conditions. 

I brought back the car with more fuel. How can I get the money back?

If you return the car with more fuel than it had at pick-up, you will automatically receive a discount voucher for the value of the extra fuel. This voucher can be used for future Klass Wagen rentals.

Additional Drivers

How many additional drivers can I add to my contract?

You may add a maximum of two (2) additional drivers to your Klass Wagen rental contract. Please note that adding additional drivers is subject to a fee. All additional drivers must meet the same age and driver’s license requirements as the main driver.

Vehicle Usage

Is it necessary to provide my flight number?

While providing your flight number is not mandatory, it is highly recommended and very helpful for us. This information allows us to monitor your flight status and anticipate any delays. However, we strongly advise all customers to contact our Customer Care department by phone once they have arrived at the airport and are ready for pick-up. This direct communication helps us to expedite the pick-up process and ensure a smooth start to your rental.
